Our most-asked question of all time has consistently been “What should I wear to my session?”. Although there’s no right or wrong answer for that, there are a few basic pointers we give out for you to keep in mind!

1) Bright colors look great on camera! Floral print dresses, jeans, and a bright-colored blouse, or a multi-color knit wrap will all add focal points and interest to your images. For the guys, a colorful tie, solid shirts with a layered look, or even fun solid color socks will look fabulous.

2) Accessorize! Bright, fun jewelry, a colored scarf, a fun headband, or even a hat are all wonderful ways to spice up your photographs.  Get creative, and don’t be afraid to try out new looks!

3) Professional hair and makeup can really make a big difference in front of the lens. Make sure to tell your makeup artist (or remind yourself, if you’re doing it D.I.Y.) to put on extra makeup - more than you would normally. If you look and the mirror and think you’ve put on a bit too much, it’s probably just about perfect for pictures!
